SMART Bus

SMART operates bus services in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties with local travel within and between suburban cities as well as service into downtown Detroit.

Michigan Department of Transporation

Provides information on roads and travel, rail and public transit, bridges, borders and ferries, news and information, projects and programs and more.

Detroit Department of Transportation

The Department of Transportation, or D-DOT, operates buses primarily in the city of Detroit; however, it has recently expanded routes to select suburban destinations.

MegaBus

Megabus operates low cost long express bus service to cities around the Eastern United States and Canada. With a stop outside the Barnes and Noble bookstore on campus, it's easy to reserve trips on their website. Tickets start at $1!

Amtrak

Amtrak's Wolverine route from Pontiac to Chicago serves Detroit's station.  Tickets can be purchased online and several trains leave daily.

Detroit - Windsor Tunnel Bus

Transit Windsor operates a cross-border service through the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel, seven days a week.  Proof of citizenship is required when crossing the international Windsor-Detroit border.
